Product Name:Calcium Peroxide Powder for Aquaculture
Specifications:50%
Main Ingredients:Calcium Peroxide
Shelf Life:24 Months
Product Series: Animal Protection
Description
• Calcium peroxide powder for aquaculture, a white or light-yellow odorless powder, is a disinfectant for livestock, which is slightly soluble in water, and easily soluble in acids.
• Calcium peroxide powder can slowly release oxygen in humid air or water for a long time, and has strong bleaching, sterilization, disinfection, and other effects, without harming the environment.
Technical Information
Product Properties | Standard Specifications |
Appearance | White or light-yellow powder |
Identification | Boiling bubbles will prompt when adding water and heating |
Loss on Drying,%(105℃,4h) | ≤3.0 |
CaO2,% | 45~55 |
Packing and Storage
• 1 kg/barrel, 5 kg/barrel, 25 kg/bag.
• Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated storage house. Keep tightly closed before use. Keep away from fire, heat sources and direct sunlight. Pay attention to moisture and rain. Do not mix with flammability or combustible substances, reducing agents, etc.
Principle and Usage
Pharmacological Action:The product reacts with water and releases reactive oxygen species, to increase dissolved oxygen in water. Those simultaneously generated reactive oxygen species and calcium hydroxide have bactericidal and algal inhibiting effects, regulate the pH of the water environment, reduce the concentration of harmful substances such as ammonia nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide in the water, and precipitate colloids. In addition, it can supplement the calcium requirements of aquatic animals.
Purpose:Use as an oxygenating agent for aerating fish ponds and preventing hypoxia of aquatic animals.
Dosage and Usage:
• 0.4-0.8g/m3 for prevention; 0.8-1.6g/m3 for emergency treatment of acute hypoxia (sprinkle first in the area where fish and shrimp are concentrated, and sprinkle the remaining part throughout the pool).
• Direct sprinkle (without mixing): Long distance transportation to prevent acute hypoxia, 8-15g per 1m3 of thewater body; Every 5-6 hours (or shorten the interval as appropriate).
Adverse Reaction:According to the prescribed usage and dosage, no adverse reactions have been observed.
Notes:
1. For some aquaculture water bodies without replacement water sources, this product should be used regularly, usually sprinkled once every 5-10 days.
2. It is strictly prohibited to mix with chlorine-containing agents, disinfectants, reducing agents, etc.
3. It is strictly prohibited to mix with other chemical reagents.
4. Long-distance transportation of ornamental fish is prohibited.
