Empowering industry engagement and development, on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, James Chem officially became a new member of the Rudong County Shrimp Association at the annual meeting of the Rudong County Shrimp Association, and the forum of shrimp supply chain efficiency marks a key milestone in its commitment to fostering sustainable growth and collaboration within the shrimp industry.
After working in aquatic farming of shrimp for over 20 years, the shrimp farming industry in Rudong has achieved a substantial scale, approximately reaching 5.2 billion yuan in the South American white shrimp farming industrial chain, including small shed structures, farm-raised in ponds, and industrial-scale shrimp aquaculture. Rudong shed mode is an efficient and intensive breeding mode innovated for more than 10 years, with the "shed" as the core facility. Combined with fine management and ecological regulation technology, it has significantly improved the success rate of breeding and economic benefits, and has become one of the benchmarks of global aquaculture. During the forum, Dr. Cui He, President of China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance, together with the Deputy Secretary General of the China Fisheries Association and over 800 seafood producers, processors, distributors, suppliers, and institutions, attended the forum. For fisheries eco-industrial, supply chain efficiency, industrial upgrading, and disease prevention and control, they emphasize the combination of traditional crude farming and an intelligent industrial model, gradually realizing intelligent aquaculture with a data-driven intelligent management scheme to improve a business's decision-making processes. At the same time, promoting RAS for sustainable aquaculture to reduce water use, manage water quality, and reduce environmental impact, which offers maximum control, minimum maintenance, and ultimate sustainability for the Prawn farming industry.
The association extends a warm welcome to its newest member, James Chem, and expresses that new members not only bring fresh perspectives and contribute to the association's vibrancy, but also help maintain a strong and active membership base and promote industry collaboration.
