In 2017, the National Development and Reform Commission further promoted the supply-side structural reform of the petrochemical industry to promote green and sustainable development. In 2018, polyether polyols were listed as key products of strategic emerging industries.

 

 

• Polyether polyols are used in all aspects of life, such as steering wheels, armrests, car seats in car interiors, sofas, mattresses, refrigerators in furniture and home appliances, thermal insulation, sound insulation, and vibration-proof materials in building materials, cold-chains, containers, pulleys in logistics, and shoe materials, clothing, etc. The removal of process impurities is a critical step in polyether refining, as impurities can negatively impact the final product’s quality.
